But the fire is so delightful

Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!"

Happy Thanksgiving to our WBSD Families!
The WBSD has a great safety system, Zonar, for our bus transportation system that can be a great tool to be used by parents.
- Watch a demo video for the new Zonar MyView app here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IPVdnZPnSs
- Download the Zonar MyView app in your device’s app store.
WBSD’s Code is: WOO9929 (This is letters “W” and “OO” not numbers)
- Login to your Parent Connect and find your child’s bus route information under the Transportation tab.
If you would like to use the additional feature, the Z-Pass, you may request one by scanning the QR code or filling out this document - https://tinyurl.com/ydkj6s2p
For more information, check out your school's weekly principal communication for more on Zonar.

Students at BMS participated in a Read-a-Thon last week, which was a fundraiser through NJHS. Students were able to purchase a snack box and read on Friday, November 15, and over $830 was raised for NJHS projects.
In honor of Fire Prevention Month, the BMS Service Squad wanted to show appreciation for our first responders. They put together small treat bags with thank-you notes, which were delivered to the Woodhaven and Brownstown Fire and Police Departments, all of whom support BMS. Thanks to a suggestion from students who live in Flat Rock, we even had enough to thank the Flat Rock Police!
Happy Halloween from BMS Staff and Students!

Students at Brownstown Middle School have been studying the creation of the U.S. Constitution. Some have been preparing as Federalists, who support its ratification, while others have been honing their arguments as Anti-Federalists, who believe the Constitution grants too much power to the federal government. Last week, each class engaged in a passionate debate on whether to ratify the Constitution, with one Federalist and one Anti-Federalist being crowned debate champions.
Our 8th grade students at Brownstown Middle School are dissecting frogs! Students are learning about the body system, specifically how to identify the structures and functions of internal organs and body systems.
