📚 March is Reading Month! 📚
At WBSD, our educators are passionate about sharing stories that inspire and teach. Mr. Dave Messner, 6th Grade ELA & Social Studies Teacher at Woodhaven Upper Elementary, shares his favorite read.
🔍 Mr. Messner: Holes by Louis Sachar
"Even though the book has been around for a while, I recently read it with my daughter. I love how it's kind of two stories combined into one, and how each story eventually "meets" at the end for a surprise conclusion to the book. I also really like how the novel emphasizes the themes of friendship, integrity, and being true to yourself."

🎮📚 March is Reading Month! 📚🎮
At WBSD, our educators love sharing their favorite books with students! Mr. Hool, 6th Grade Geography at Woodhaven Upper Elementary, is taking us on a nostalgic journey with his all-time favorite read.
🚀 Mr. Hool: Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
"As an ’80s/’90s video game-obsessed child, this book transported me back to the era of coin-operated arcades, the Atari 2600, and the birth of the NES. Join Wade Watts as he traverses the Oasis—a virtual world only limited by your imagination—in search of the ultimate prize. I’ve read it multiple times and can’t wait to read it again!"

We are sending this communication to clarify some questions we have been receiving about setting up Book Fair eWallets...the easy cashless way to shop the fair.
It seems that the WUE Book Fair link is directing users to a page that says "Shop with Book Fair eWallet at Brownstown Middle School".
We want to assure you that even though the school name is wrong, We are getting the ewallets in the WUE Book Fair account when they are made through that link.
There seems to be a glitch with the reconfiguration and renaming of the fair. We hope this clears up any questions. Thanks for shopping the WUE Book Fair.
