HCM affects approximately one in 500 people and does not usually have any symptoms.
Parents can register their child from the QR codes attached and download the proper paperwork to fill out.

September 17 - National Constitution Day
On September 17th, the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District joins the nation in commemorating Constitution Day. This day marks the anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution in 1787—a document that has guided our nation for over two centuries.
We celebrate the principles of democracy, justice, and liberty that form the bedrock of our country. It’s also a day to honor those who have become United States citizens, embracing the rights and responsibilities that come with this proud designation.
Let’s encourage our students to learn about and appreciate the Constitution, which continues to shape our nation and our lives.

Weekly Warrior Athletics Game Plan for the week of September 16-21.

Woodhaven High School AP Chemistry students had their first lab this week to test our water to find out the concentration of calcium ions in it. As our water flows through the water table underground, many ions like calcium and magnesium dissolve in the water. Water with a high mineral content is considered "hard water." Hard water can cause build up in our pipes and appliances.

Mrs. Huepenbecker and Ms. Shumaker's 5th grade Social Studies classes participated in a service project in honor of Patriot Day. The students' goal was to spread kindness in our community by placing positive messages on the sidewalk along Hall Road and Woodhaven Upper Elementary.

🌟 Today is the National Day of Encouragement! 🌟
Let's make the world a brighter place by lifting each other up. Whether it's a kind word, a helping hand, or just being there for someone, your encouragement can make a difference.
đź’¬ Share a message of encouragement in the comments! Who will you lift up today?

Today, the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District pauses to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. On this Patriot Day, we reflect on the bravery, resilience, and unity that emerged in the face of tragedy.
Let us teach our students the importance of compassion, strength, and togetherness as we remember the heroes who gave everything and the loved ones who were left behind.
Together, we stand united in remembrance and hope for a peaceful future. 🕊️
