The Woodhaven Theatre Company (WTC) is on the path to making history as they compete for their third consecutive state championship. Following an outstanding performance at the Michigan Interscholastic Forensic Association (MIFA) Regional Competition, the WTC’s production of The Price secured first place, earning a spot in the State Finals at Wayne State University in two weeks.
The talented Woodhaven High School cast and crew will take the stage at the Hilberry Theatre at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14, with hopes of bringing home another state title for the school and Woodhaven-Brownstown School District.
Community members who want to see the award-winning production before the State Finals can attend a special performance at Woodhaven High School on Thursday, February 6, at 7 p.m. The Price—a Michigan premiere adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Story of a Mother—is a powerful 30-minute play that the students have poured their hearts into.
